Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire and lies upon the River Avon. There has been human activity at Warwick as early as the Neolithic, and constant habitation since the 6th century with a population of 23,350 in the 2001 UK census. Visit Warwick Castle Britain's Greatest Mediaeval experience, the Lord Leycester Hospital with its' fine mediaeval timber framed buildings, the Military Museum and the Collegiate Church of St Mary famous for its Beauchamp Chapel
The Tilted Wig is in the Market Square which plays host to numerous events throughout the year and is the home of the Charter Market
